The Vino Tinto Rento is a red wine that belongs to the wineries family Matarromera in Ribera del Duero. This wine is composed of grape variety 100% Tempranillo.
The vineyards of the landmark short are careful with dedication and affection to be worthy of being part of the history of rent. It is the only plot of Matarromera group which is located in the South left bank of the Douro River (Quintanilla de Arriba), is a very special, in whose day care is not used any type of chemical product.
The grapes from the landmark short plot has some exceptional parameters of sugar and colour intensity, then manifested in the wine. The selection of the grapes is two-fold, first cluster to cluster and then grain to grain. Rento 2011 has raised in 50 mostly French oak barrels, of Coopers as prestigious as Taransaud, Berthomieu, Boutes Canton for 18 months. The barrels are only stacked to a height and are filled monthly.
Fermentation: 10-14 days in tanks of stainless steel (26 degrees)
Ageing: 18 months in new barrels and 24 months in bottle
