Aunt Mary is a native of Jamaica, the combination of the Jamaican sugar cane liquor, Café Blue Montain, Bourbon Vanilla and sugar, make Aunt Mary's complex and balanced liquor. Jamaica-based cane spirits are a typical specialty.

The history of this liqueur dates back to the beginning of the 17th century, legend has it that a Spanish noble woman residing in Jamaica was forced to escape from their property because of a conflict. This Aristocrat was accompanied by a maid carrying a jeweler of the family containing a few pearls black and a liqueur recipe. In honor of this maid baptized with its name to this drink.
