This monovarietal of Albariño comes from the Pontevedra town of O Rosal, on the shores of the Miño. From there they take care that the quality of the grapes used is excellent, and that is why they only manage to put on the market a very limited number of bottles that are also numbered. In the Cup it presents a golden yellow color and we can highlight its balance between the fruit and the oak along with a passing mouth.

Bodegas La Val was born in 1985, thus becoming one of the pioneering brands of the Rías Baixas origin. Initially located in the municipality of O Rosal, on the shores of the Miño River, the farm called La Val, cultivated in its origins the varieties of Albariño, Loureiro and Treixadura.

Elaboration

Manual harvest of the best grapes of the Arantei farm with appropriate degree and acidity to endure parenting. Manual harvest in 20 kg boxes.

The grapes are macerated before the extraction of the must for 6 hours and at a controlled temperature of 10ºC to guarantee the presence of aromas in the final result. Once the must has been filtered, it is fermented in the French oak barrel of the Allier of 225 liters.

Once the fermentation is over, the wine continues in the cask where is subject to a process of upbringing about 6 months, being periodically removed by the so -called "Bâtonnage" method. Then go to stainless steel tanks. After raising, wine is shown to stainless steel deposits where it will remain until its bottling, where the fruit and oak character integrated perfectly.

It is a wine fresh, structured and body, ideal to pair with a wide range of meals such as fresh cheeses and foie, fish and shellfish, blunt pastes, as well as white or bird meats. It is recommended to take at a temperature of 12ºC.
