SPANISH WHITE WINE PICARANA2012

Part of the DO Vinos de Madrid.

Picarana white wine comes from vineyards in four different places, at the foot of the Sierra de Guadarrama and outside the Bodega Marañones. It is made with 100% grape albillo obtained from vineyards of fresh, deep soils rich in organic matter.

It is an organic vineyard in small clusters and very early, delicate and sensitive to frost variety.

The manufacturing process has a period of cold maceration prefermentative 24 hours later for another 24 hours by natural settling press passes, with fine lees to ferment in oak barrels is done over a period of 10 months.

TASTING NOTES WHITE WINE PICARANA 2012:

Given out for its clean and shiny.

Varietal aromas on the nose. Predominantly balsamic, thyme, lavender and mineral background we see pear and quince.

The palate has some structure, a greedy entry with spicy touches and a refreshing finish.

Combines excellently with grilled chicken or baked fish.

The ideal temperature to serve this product is 8°C.
