Pingus domain, the Red Wine PSI of the DO. Ribera del Duero (Spain), elaborated from the various varieties of grapes 90% Tempranillo and 10% Garnacha. 93 Parker
He Red Wine PSI It is a magnificent entrance door to the personal world of Peter Sisseck, an outstanding elaborator who has left a significant brand in the riparian denomination in recent times. This wine represents a turn to a cooler and more fruit profile, differentiating from the concentrated intensity that characterizes its renowned pingus and pingus flower.
When exploring PSI, some prominent critics such as Luis Gutiérrez, of the Robert Parker team, have mentioned reminiscences of the ancient vintages of the fishing redd by perceiving their aromas. The elegance and openness of this red, combined with its potential for aging, are unusual features in contemporary red wines.
PSI can mature for 6 or 7 years beyond its year of harvest, and it is recommended to serve it at a temperature between 14 and 16 ºC to fully enjoy its qualities. A brief decantation before its tasting will allow to deploy all its aromatic and gustative potential.
This wine should be served ideally between 15 ºC and 17 ºC to enhance their flavors and textures. It is a fascinating option for those who seek to explore the freshest and most accessible vision of Peter Sisseck, without compromising the elegance and the ability to evolve their creations.
