Bull It is one of the oldest wine regions in Spain and is considered one of the most premium of production of large red wines. Thanks to its extreme temperatures and dry climate, the Tempranillo grape, locally known as Bull inkIt produces very structured wines with great aromatic complexity and an incredibly intense color. Some of the oldest vineyards in the world (more than 140 years) can be found in this region thanks to their sandy soils that protected the area of the devastating phyloxera plaguera at the end of the 19th century. They are also of the vines with lower productions in the world !!
Viñedos: Centenary vineyards located in the highest, dry and arid plains, of Castilla y León. Drystrovish viñedos with 3M planting frame by 3M. Poor sandy clay soils.
Vinification: Manual harvest. 7 days of maceration. Fermentation at 25-27ºC. 5 months in American oak.

Botas de Barro: Botas de Barro es una colección de vinos que rinde homenaje a las generaciones de viticultores que han cuidado las viñas viejas en todo España, elaborando vinos de monovarietales que expresan lo mejor de cada zona y sus viñas viejas.
De origen Inglesa, Nicola Thornton se enamoró de las viñas viejas de la D.O TORO nada mas descubrirlos por pura casualidad. Después de casi 20 años en el sector del vino, Nicola quería crear un proyecto que honraba el enorme esfuerzo de los viticultores por todo España. Nada mas llegar a la zona de TORO, y a conocer los viticultores y las viñas viejas, se preguntaba, ¿cuantas pares de botas se habran gastado las generaciones de viticultores para que yo puedo disfrutar de estas viñas y los vinos increíbles que producen? Poca gente se da cuenta cuanto esfuerzo hay detrás de cada botella de vino. Desde el momento de plantar una viña hasta el primer momento de degustar el vino, fruto del esfuerzo, pasan años.
Botas de Barro es una gama de vinos elaborados en zonas de gran tradición vitivinicola, donde el esfuerzo de generaciones y la calidad han ido unidos desde hace siglos. A través de cada botella de Botas de Barro, hacemos un pequeño brindis para dar las gracias a todo el mundo que ha trabajado para mimar estas viñas tan especiales que nos permite elaborar un vino de gran calidad.
