The RON Zacapa XO contains a blend of rums that have suffered aging from 6 to 23 years .

Zacapa XO is often called the " cognac of rums " . Is aged at different
types of barrels , including barrels of American Whiskey , fine wine sherry and Pedro
Ximenez , which gives it its unique and distinctive flavor of high quality. The passage
end of the process takes place in casks that previously housed French brandy .
