The White Wine La Val Treixadura comes from the estate called “Porto”, where apart from Treixadura being harvested, you can find Loureiro and Albariño. It is located in the County of Salvaterra, on the banks of the Miño River, and has deep soils of alluvial origin, with the presence of numerous boulders that provide freshness in summer and heat during ripening. In this way, the climate is completely Atlantic.

Elaboration

The harvest is carried out manually in 20 kg boxes. It has a gentle destemming and pressing, racking of the must and subsequent fermentation with native yeasts at a controlled temperature of 16 ºC for 30 days.

This white wine is obtained from Treixadura from the different estates owned by the winery to the south of the D.O. Rías Baixas. The vineyards are located in the Taboexa plantations, where they are nourished by granitic soil that gives them freshness, and in Arantei, 30 meters above sea level and on pebble soil, which guarantees minerality and fruitiness to the wine. Its color is straw yellow with bright greenish notes. Its aroma is reminiscent of fresh grass and bay leaf, as well as stewed fruits.Its palate is fresh and rich, with citrus notes and a long finish.

It is a friendly, fresh and balanced wine, very gastronomic to pair with fresh summer foods. It combines perfectly with pasta, salads and fresh cheeses, as well as fish and seafood.
