ECOLOGICAL WINES WHAT ARE THEY?

Organic wines are those that are produced using agricultural practices environmentally friendly, avoiding the use of pesticides, herbicides and chemical fertilisers, and prioritising the use of natural methods to protect the vineyard. These wines are also produced using indigenous yeasts and, in some cases, can be made without the use of added sulphites.

The certification of organic wines is regulated by the European Union and is governed by very strict rules. The "organic wine" label can only be used if the producer has obtained the corresponding certification and complies with the established standards.

The production of organic wines aims to reduce environmental impact and preserve biodiversity, using more sustainable and ecosystem-friendly agricultural practices.

ECOLOGICAL WINE FEATURES

  • Use of natural organic fertilizers, which are of plant and / or animal origin, for the vineyards.
  • No chemical products are used in crops, which ensures a healthier plant and grape.
  • Organic raw materials are used in the manufacturing process.
  • Natural cork is the material used in bottle caps.
  • The burning of crop remains is prohibited.

VEGAN WINES WHAT ARE THEY?

Vegan wines are 100% vegetable origin and share several of the characteristics of organic wines. In addition to this, in processes such as clarification, in which the wine is cleaned of impurities, clarifiers that are not animal-type are used to obtain a 100% vegan label.

Vegan wines they are not only an ethical and animal-friendly choice, but can also be a healthy option for consumers looking to reduce their consumption of animal products. In addition, some studies have suggested that los vegan wines may be more environmentally friendly and have less impact on biodiversity.
