The Red Wine de Autor Paserene Marathon is a wine whose author Martin Smith. Is composed of grape varieties PetitVerdot 60%, 40% Carmenere. The location of the vineyards is in Tulbagh, Swartland and Elgin, South Africa. The grapes are fermented in French oak barrels and agitated carefully to avoid extra-squeezed grapes. Matured 16 months in French oak barrels, 30% new.
Marathon is its red wine, and the label is a swallow, the only South African bird that crosses to the other side of the Atlantic Ocean to spend the summer. Bird recalls the journey of Martin himself and his stay in California, and reflects their experience in the production of quality wines.
Collection wines are made with the wisdom of an artisan winegrower, as is Martin Smith; labels designed by professional artists; hand bottling and sealing wax, one by one.
The Paserene series is a wine collector to enjoy on special occasions. This Marathon have been bottled only 2000 bottles, of which we have been able to award a batch Wines and Wines has brought to Spain to be enjoyed by the Spanish public. The Carmenere variety has been certified by Martin himself to include it in its Marathon, being the first and only wine grower in South Africa using this variety in their wines.
The alcoholic content by volume is 13.5 vol

Con aromas de moras, chocolate, regaliz y viruta de café. Secundario, muestra un bello toque a especias y aromas de piñones.
MOUTH
El vino tiene una riqueza majestuosa con una estructura suave de taninos. Se puede beber ahora o dejar madurar hasta 40 años desde la cosecha. Se recomienda decantar antes de disfrutarlo.
