100% Cencibel variety (Tempranillo) of old strains. With an age of the vineyard from 40 to 70 years, in different areas and municipalities of the D.O La Mancha such as the tables, Pedroñeras, El Provencio, San Clemente and Villarrobledo.
It works with traditional, practically ecological viticulture and with low yields of about 15 hl/ha. Always looking for a healthy, mature, and balanced grape. An excellent raw material. The types of soils are limestone, and calcareous, poor, stony, loose and well drained clay. Vasted from September 8 to 20, at the optimal maturation moment of each plot. Dry and hot summer vintage, with especially low yields that contributes to the wine more fruit and concentration.
French and American oak barrels of about 5 months.
