Buy D.O. Wines Jerez-Xerez

The Denomination of Origin Jerez-Xeres is based in the provinces of Cádiz and “Seville”, it was established in 1932, with about 9,500 hectares of vineyards and about 100 wineries that make up 2,300 winegrowers. The climate of the region corresponds to that of a warm southern area, with important influence from the Atlantic Ocean. The Marco de Jerez presents open, gently undulating horizons, in which the uniqueness of its white land must be highlighted: the "albariza" (alba means white in Latin). The Albariza is the most suitable land for the production of grapes suitable for the production of Sherry and the one that provides the best quality wines.

The preferred and authorized white varieties in this D.O. They are Palomino Fino, Palomino, Moscatel and P. Ximenez
