The Condado de Huelva Denomination of Origin is based in the province of Huelva and was created in 1932, it has an area of 3,400 hectares, about 36 wineries and 1,9480 winegrowers. The vineyard in the area covered by this D.O. It extends over flat or slightly undulating terrain. In general, they are neutral or slightly basic soils, loamy and of medium fertility. In terms of climate, the County of Huelva enjoys ideal conditions for growing grapes; mild in winter and spring and with long, warm summers with evident Atlantic influence.
The preferred and authorized white varieties in this D.O. They are Garrido Fino, Listán, Moscatel, Palomino Fino, P. Ximenez and Zalema.

The wines of this D.O. They are recognized for the production of quality white wines; generous: and generous with liquor. The fortified wines are subjected to a minimum biological or “in flower” aging process of three years. in the Pale County and oxidative or biological, or both in the Old County. Names known in the world market that refer to some of the organoleptic qualities of these wines can also be used, such as pale, dry, dark, sweet, etc., in any language.
The minimum percentages of alcoholic volume acquired in their wines are the following: Blanco Joven 10-12%, Blanco 10-14.5%, Condado Pálido and Condado Viejo.
