This wine belongs to the Heirs of Marques de Riscal winery and has a D.O.C Rioja.
It is composed of two different grape varieties: Tempranillo and Graciano. For processing wooden vats and the latest generation of sorting tables, where the bunches and grapes are cooled previously used. This is followed by alcoholic fermentation at a controlled temperature of 26 ° C. Finally breeding begins in French oak barrels for 36 months, later moving to the bottle for 3 years.

La Bodega Marqués de Riscal (Herederos del Marqués de Riscal) fue fundada en 1858, en Elciego, que está situado en la Rioja Alavesa.
En 1972, la bodega adquirió viñedos en Rueda (Valladolid) para producir vinos blancos y también, posee viñedos en Castilla y León.
Así, la Bodega Marqués de Riscal produce bajo las apelaciones: D.O.Ca Rioja, D.O Rueda y V.T. Castilla y León.
También se reconoce como una empresa innovadora, pionera, de hecho fue la primera bodega de Rioja que elaboraba vinos según los métodos bordeleses.
