The Valdecuriel Crianza Red Wine from Bodegas Valdecuriel, presents this Red Wine D.O. Ribera del Duero (Spain) made from the 100% Tempranillo grape variety.
The vineyards that give rise to this wine are located in Curiel de Duero (Valladolid), in the heart of the Ribera del Duero.
The vines over 25 years old, of the Tempranillo variety, are located on our Valdecuriel estate, this has a very special feature, its soils are clay-calcareous with the bedrock without fragmenting less than one meter of surface.
PREPARATION AND AGING
Harvested by hand at its optimal point of ripeness in 15 kg boxes. The bunches are chosen on a selection table, then destemmed. The grapes are vatted in stainless steel tanks, we carry out a cold maceration, with a subsequent alcoholic fermentation at about 25o C.
Aging in French and American oak barrels for 12 months makes it a wine full of fruit but with maturity and elegance.
