Tschiel, a word romance for sky, is the name and meaning of Daniel Vollenweider's first sparkling wine. Not a Riesling, but one hundred percent vollenweider.  The Tschiel shows a fine and fresh nose of white berries and dry orange skin. In the mouth it is fresh and alive with varietal rest of rest. Fine fruit and sublime elegance of Burgundy vines harmonize perfectly with the balanced stimulating pearl. The powerful mousse and the nuances of yeast aromas make this sparkling wine an excellent meal partner. Very well done and something very special

Daniel Vollenweider is originally from Switzerland, of the canton of the gray specifically, and it was a bottle of Ausles de Egon Müller that made it radically change life and devoted himself to the world of wine. In love with this variety, he decided to return to the European continent and settle in the region where the true heart of this grape is: El Mosela. Vollenweider worked as an apprentice next to one of the greatest producers, in Wehlen, and over time He managed to acquire some vineyards in the town of Wolf, in the historic Viñedo Goldgube, an area of ​​the Mosela that has excellent vine , on gray slate floors (and some reddish slate veins) and with very scarce productions. Vollenweider is one of the winemakers that is achieving the reactivation of the area. The winery is located in the neighboring town of Transo-Trabach, where it elaborates with stainless steel and fudres deposits; His first vintage was the 2000, quickly praised by international criticism.
