Red Wine The Chocolate Block 2012 is made in South Africa with the following grapes: 69% Shyraz, 14% Grenache Noir, 11% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Cinsault, and 1% Viognier.
Aged in French oak barrels for 15 months.
A wine with impressive qualities and nuances released anything else, has to turn potential refinement and maturation in the bottle for at least 8 more years.

View: intense ruby red color.
Nose: spicy intensity which is supported by ripe fruit, plum,
blackberries and raspberries, aromas of violets, chocolate and licorice.
Mouth: Good grip, acidity and well integrated tannins with a unique feeling in the mouth in which the fruit
ripe berry and cherry perfectly integrated with chocolate and toasted
wood, allowing a smooth texture and surround. The finish is long and rounded,
elegant and delicious.

Bodega Boekenhoutskloof: Aunque ya existía como hacienda en 1776, no fue hasta principios de la década de los noventa del siglo XX cuando Boekenhoutskloof inició su camino hacia el éxito y la modernidad.
Bodega Boekenhoutskloof es una bodega de vinos ubicada en la región vinícola de Franschhoek, en Sudáfrica. Fundada en 1776, la bodega se ha especializado en la producción de vinos de alta calidad, principalmente a partir de las variedades de uva Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir y Semillon.
La bodega cuenta con viñedos propios, situados en una zona privilegiada para la viticultura, con un clima cálido y suelos de granito y esquisto. La bodega se enorgullece de utilizar métodos sostenibles en la producción de sus vinos, como la reducción del uso de pesticidas y herbicidas, y la promoción de la biodiversidad y la fertilidad del suelo.
