Bodegas Volver presents the Vino Tinto Tarima Hill from the D.O. Alicante (Spain), made from the grape variety Monastrell 100%.
Vino Tarima Hill
The Vino Tinto Tarima Hill is an exquisite choice for those seeking a robust and characterful wine. Produced in the D.O. Alicante, this wine is made exclusively from Monastrell grapes, a variety known for its intensity and complexity.
The harvest of this wine is characterized by extreme drought, with an average rainfall of about 153.6 liters per square meter. Thanks to the microclimate of the area, with an altitude of 650 to 750 meters, and arid, shallow soils full of limestone rocks, Tarima Hill develops unique qualities. The humidity from the Mediterranean breezes also plays a crucial role in the development of the vines.

The Tarima Hill is made with grapes from multiple vineyards located in the villages of mid-Vinalopó, such as Pinoso, Salinas, El Maña, and Monóvar. These vines, planted in bush form between 1935 and 1970, follow traditional dryland viticulture, resulting in a low but high-quality yield, with only 1.5 kg per plant.
The harvest is carried out at the optimal ripening time of the grapes, usually in early autumn. Indigenous yeasts are used for fermentation, ensuring the authentic expression of the terroir. The malolactic fermentation takes place in barrels, and the wine ages for 14 months in French oak barrels, which gives it complexity and depth.
If you are looking for a red wine with personality and depth, Tarima Hill is an excellent choice. Buying this wine will allow you to enjoy a unique oenological experience.
