Rating by our sommelier Claudio Comella: Bodegas Lecea is located in in the heart of Rioja Alta, the town of San Asensio between ashtray and Haro. Several generations of winemaking tradition draw the spirit of Lecea. Here the typical natural stone fretwork 500 years ago are preserved, with mazes of hallways and rooms where vinificaba and kept the wine to the ideal temperature and humidity.

Luis Alberto makes white Viura and Chardonnay barrel fermented, clarets, young reds, reds carbonic maceration, a vintage, a backup and a large reserve. And his Lecea Book conspicuously pure spirit , a wine that retains the essence after the passage of the years.
