RED WINE HOROLA 2012

Part of the DO Rioja, Baños de Rio Tobia, Rioja Alta.

The Regulatory Council DO Rioja described the 2012 vintage as very good harvest, weather conditions this year have been crucial for obtaining a reduced harvest but of exceptional quality.

The climate of the Valley's terrain Najerilla and help in developing grape Tempranillo Tinta indigenous variety of Rioja, the grapes are harvested manually in boxes during the first week of October, after separating the grapes passing barrels of 500 liters French oak in which it conducts alcoholic fermentation and aging. Wine lees these barrels are kept for a period of 10 months.

TASTING NOTES RED WINE HOROLA 2012:

Given known for its cherry red color.

On the nose rich aroma with balsamic spices with fruit and licorice notes.

The palate is elegant and velvety tannins, delicate refreshing acidity and a lingering finish.

PAIRING RED WINE HOROLA 2012:

It's great as an accompaniment to game dishes such as wild boar or venison, sausages, ham, chorizo, roast beef or lamb as cured or semi-cured cheeses.

Serve this wine at a temperature of 15-17ºC.
