In a small almost centenary plot, of Viñedo Viejo and little performance, Nebro is born, a limited edition of a wine that is only made in those vintages of extraordinary quality.

From a very old vineyard and of little performance in the olmedillo area with 100% Tempranillo variety and a 14 -month breeding in new 100% of French oak of fine grain (Darnajou).

Villacreces extends by a 110 -hectare farm, 64 of them from Viñedo, settled on a meandro of the Duero River, in the heart of the gold mile of the Ribera del Duero. This vineyard is divided into 15 plots of the fine red varieties (Tempranillo), Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, which intermingle with a centenary pine forest of great environmental and landscape value.

Finca Villacreces arises as well as a unique vineyard, conditioned by the diversity of soils where it is planted, ranging from extremely sandy areas near Los Pinos, to very stony land where the songs from the alluvial deposition of the Duero predominate. The poverty of the land guarantees, naturally, low yields that are around 4,000 kg/hectare.

Finca Villacreces is planted at 700 meters above sea level and is subject to an extreme climate, with large thermal oscillations, long winters and dry summers with low rainfall. However, the forest that surrounds the farm provides you with a special microclimate that protects the vineyard from the most aggressive climatic circumstances.

In Finca Villacreces, a viticulture focused on quality is sought, where the vineyard is self -regulated to limit production to less than 2 kilos per strain. In turn, these vineyards are cultivated following integrated viticulture criteria, where the natural condition of the vine is controlled and preserved to obtain wines with the personality and typicality of Villacreces.
