Aalto is a winery founded in 1999 by Mariano García (from Bodegas Mauro and anterior winemaker of Vega Sicily) and Javier Zaccagnini (Bodegas Ossian) underway in February 1999, with the economic support of several enthusiastic quality investors of quality wine. Mariano García is the winemaker and Antonio Moral the head of Viticulture and Javier Arias el Bodeguero and Jose Carlos Garcia the 2nd enologo. The winery controls 110 hectares of old vineyards with old clones of fine red red, very low performance (2500 kg/ha) and exceptional quality, located in seven different municipalities of the designation of origin.
The harvest is done manually and in small boxes, once in the winery it is selected in two selection tables.
