Crafted classic English style, this Gin has a graduation of 43.5% vol. and more flavours than its namesake. In fact, it contains seven botanical, caraway, instead of angelica seed, and the addition of calamus, an aquatic plant that usually grow in swampy areas in Europe and America.
The Colonel's aroma reminds gin with lemon and it is used as a medicinal plant to cure asthma, bronchitis, inflammation, fever, improvements of the digestive apparatus, etc. However, to control its power, it is balanced with coriander seeds.
The development of Mombasa Colonel's Reserve part of a rectified spirit of the highest quality, which serves to macerate all the botanists for one night. The next day, it is distilled in small stainless steel stills created by the first London manufacturer "John Brown".

La receta original del gin Mombasa Club fue descubierta por la destilería González Byass en los archivos del club en 2009 y se decidió relanzar el gin en 2010 con una versión actualizada de la receta original.
Mombasa Club 2010 está elaborado con una mezcla de 9 botánicos, incluyendo bayas de enebro, cilantro, angélica, cassia, clavo, comino, piel de naranja, piel de limón y canela, y se destila en alambiques de cobre. El resultado es un gin suave y aromático, con notas cítricas, especiadas y terrosas.
