Bodegas Atalaya: En el terreno fronterizo donde se deja atrás el Levante marítimo y se encara la horizontalidad de La Mancha.

Por encantamiento, los viñedos viejos parecen querer estos suelos calizos de baja fertilidad, sufridores de escasas lluvias. Situados a más de 700 metros sobre el nivel del mar, producen frutos concentrados que regalan un reventón de tonalidades, sabores y fragancias.

Por sus pedregales resuenan antiguas batallas, y aún más viejas cacerías que quedaron grabadas en cuevas. Sus vides mantienen la fuerza de los siglos. Los nuevos métodos han logrado combinaciones con la frescura de la fruta y las flores, pero la complejidad de su mixtura.

Sobre el predominio de la Garnacha Tintorera y su pulpa violácea, se hace notar la melosidad y fuerza de la Monastrell en los vinos de la bodega que los combina en sus entrañas.
