Gran Vino Pazo Barrantes White Wine.

This unique wine is produced in the Salnes Valley in the D.O. Rias Baixas from Albariño grapes sourced from Pazo de Barrantes' own 12 hectares of vineyards, which have granitic soils and are 30 years old.

After 10 years of research and excellent work in the vineyard, Bodega Pazo Barrantes paused production of their acclaimed Pazo Barrantes for 2 years to allow for more careful aging. This included a small contribution of acacia wood barrel aging, later bottling, and a more relaxed bottle maturation process. The result is the new Pazo Barrantes, harnessing the unlimited potential of the Albariño grape and creating an exclusive selection, marking the beginning of a new era for Pazo Barrantes.

The aging process involves 7 months in stainless steel tanks, with 15% of the wine fermenting in acacia wood barrels, followed by 16 months in the bottle before being released to the market. This ensures the wine is pleasant and perfect for consumption, although it is also ideal for aging and enjoying within the next 5-10 years.

This wine is perfect for pairing with fish and seafood.

Only 95,000 bottles of 0.75 cl and 1,425 magnum bottles of 1.5L of this magnificent wine are produced.

We recommend serving at 11°C to fully appreciate its aromas and opening it a few minutes before consumption to allow it to breathe.
