The Castillo de Sajazarra Reserva Tempranillo Magnum Red Wine belongs to the Castillo de Sajazarra Vineyards and Wineries, with a Rioja Designation of Origin.
They are made from very ripe grapes, from low-production vineyards. Between 10% and 20% of the total undergo malolactic fermentation in new French oak barrels, with periodic batonnages. It is aged for 24 months in American and French oak barrels, ending its stay in wood with a further 3 months in French oak vats. Finally, it remains in the bottle for a minimum of 12 months before being marketed.
It is recommended to serve at a temperature between 16°C and 18°C.
