Its owner Juan Manuel Burgos, winemaker and winemaker, presumes to do things in his own way: "We do not follow the rules ... and our clients like!" Bodegas y Viñedos Juan Manuel Burgos es una bodega familiar situada en la DO Ribera del Duero, en la localidad de Roa de Duero, en la provincia de Burgos, España. La bodega, fundada en 2000, cuenta con una extensión de viñedos propios de más de 40 hectáreas, lo que les permite controlar todo el proceso de producción, desde el cultivo de la uva hasta el embotellado del vino.
Los viñedos de Bodegas y Viñedos Juan Manuel Burgos se encuentran a una altitud de entre 800 y 900 metros sobre el nivel del mar, lo que les confiere unas características únicas debido a la amplitud térmica entre el día y la noche. Además, los suelos son principalmente arcillo-calcáreos y pobres en materia orgánica, lo que hace que la vid tenga que luchar por su supervivencia, dando lugar a uvas más concentradas y complejas.
La bodega cuenta con las últimas tecnologías en vinificación y crianza, pero siempre respetando la tradición y el saber hacer heredado de generaciones anteriores. Todo ello, junto con el esmerado cuidado del viñedo y el control exhaustivo de cada una de las etapas de producción, permite obtener vinos de alta calidad y personalidad única.
