CONGO RED WINE 2009 This wine of Denomination of Origin Méntrida , born in about 100 % Garnacha old vines located in the Real de San Vicente , southern foothills of the Sierra de Gredos , 750 meters above sea level and with an age of 50 years. Harvested in box, this wine comes from a selection of the best grapes from the best vineyard plants . Cold maceration , porteriormente , soft stepped for 22 days. WINE TASTING CONGO 2009 View: Deep cherry color . Nose: Floral aromas of violets along with hints of chocolate and hazelnut . Palate: Ample and tasty, with sweet , ripe tannins that respects and enhances the wine and helps appreciate the old vine minerality that this entails.
